Instructions

BOW BUNNY

- Make a circle with your thumb, middle, and ring fingers of your right hand
- The thumb should be bent and will tuck in behind the first knuckles of your fingers.
- Your wrist should be flat and all fingers and the arm relaxed

Parts of the bunny:
- Your index finger is the "floppy ear" while your pinky is the a "listening ear".
- Your middle and ring fingers are the bunny's teeth and the thumb is the bunny's chin.

BOW HOLD

Placement of the bunny on the bow:
- Hang the round bunny teeth (middle and ring fingers) on the stick of the bow across from the silver part of the frog.
- The middle finger will almost touch the thumb and the ring finger will probably be close to or cover the frog's eye.
- The thumb goes on the silver metal part of the frog.
- The index finger "flops" onto of the grip with the pinky perched on top of the bow.
- NOTE: The thumb and pinky must always be round.

VIOLIN HOLD

Rest position:
- Feet together
- Violin under your right arm
- Make sure the bridge of the violin isn't covered by your arm
- Violin hand goes on the violin's right shoulder
- Point bow toward the floor

Playing position:
- Spread feet shoulder width apart
- Hold violin out to the left keeping your hand on the shoulder
- Turn violin upside down
- Place violin on left collarbone
- Look left and drop chin on chinrest
LAPIN D’ARCHET

- Fais un cercle avec le pouce, le doigt majeur, et l’annulaire de la main droite.
- Le pouce doit être rond et il doit toucher l’intérieur des articulations des doigts.
- Le poignet doit êtres plats et tous les doigts et les bras doit être détendues.

TENUE D’ARCHET

- Place le doigt majeur et l’annulaire sur la baguette de l’archet en travers du partie argent du talon.
- Le doigt majeur s’approche le pouce, et l’annulaire s’approche l’œil du talon.
- Le pouce est situé sur la partie argent du talon.
- On met l’index sur la poussette et le petit doigt est assis dessus l’archet.
- ATTENTION: Le pouce et le petit doigt doivent être ronds.

TENUE DU VIOLON

Rest position:
- Les pieds ensemble
- Violon en dessous le bras droit
- Assure que le chevalet ne reste pas en dessous de ton bras
- Place ton main droit sur l’épaule droit du violon
- Dirige l’archet en direction du plancher

Position pour jouer:
- Sépare les pieds
- Places le violon sur la clavicule gauche
- Tourne la tête gauche et reste ton menton sur la mentonnière
